How can I use this with my class?

Use this series of resources to explore rocks with your class. Use the grouping rocks activity sheet with the virtual rock kit to allow students to group rocks according to their type, minerals, properties and uses.

You can also use the rock kit to set a quiz and see how much your class knows about rocks and learn about a career as a geologist. The rock matching game can be used to explore the properties of specific rocks in a group activity.
