How can I use this with my class?
Use these resources to guide your class through a real-world challenge of producing hydrogen by electrolysis. Use the presentation to cement your student’s electrolysis knowledge and instruct them on how to carry out the electrolysis of water. The card match can be used as an extension task to explore other uses of hydrolysis.
Use the support sheet if your class requires written instructions for the practical, rather than writing their own. The energy calculator can use students’ IT skills to calculate efficiency. Once the challenge is completed, use the self-check sheets for students to reflect on their work.
