This real world challenge invites 9-11-year-olds across the UK to design a sustainable future food that’s healthy for people and the planet. Guided by food enthusiast Stefan Gates, students explore innovative foods like edible insects and lab-grown meat, meet the scientists behind them, and then are tasked to create their own future food.
This engaging, 1-hour lesson supports curriculum learning about healthy eating and diet.
